For sale one Gabon ebony turning blank. I obtained a bunch of ebony when I worked for the Exotic Woods company years ago. We were one of the largest importers of ebony from West Africa. All of the ebony was dried in a vacuum kiln. I am starting to clean these blanks up a few at a time and sell them. All the faces have been passed over the jointer and clean cuts on the ends. No wax to hide cracks and other undesirable flaws.
The blank measures a minimum of 1.2 X 1.2 X 13" The blank is 100% free of splits and cracks.
The blank is dry at 7% moisture content or less.
The pictures are of the actual blank you will receive. All four sides and the ends of the blank are pictured.
If there are any worm holes they will be circled in white.
