Quilted sapele, hard maple and wenge laminated bass guitar neck blank. This blank does have a color streak in one of the outside maple pieces. This will more than likely carve out.  

The blank is made up of 11 pieces of wood. The center strip of quilted sapele is 0.67" flanked by 0.08" hard maple, 0.08" wenge, 0.08" hard maple, 0.19" quilted sapele and 1.20" of hard maple. We use a modified urea resin glue for our laminated necks. It is expensive, difficult to work with, but is the best glue for the application. It is a rigid glue and works great on tropical hardwoods. 

The blank overall measures 42 X 3.93 X 1.54".  

The blanks are made up from kiln dried 8% MC or less stock. They are surfaced flat on both sides. 

Four pictures of each side are shown wet with alcohol to pop the figure. 4 pictures of each side dry, are show too. Pictures are of the exact blank you will receive.
