For sale, Smoked Scottish oak burl book matched guitar top. This is an open burl, meaning there are many fine splits on the surface and throughout. These can be quite attractive when filled with colored epoxy or other material. This particular oak burl is seldom seen in the US, except in veneer form. Old growth, with tight grain and hard as a rock. I bought this slab years ago for a personal project that I never got around to. My personal stash is over flowing and I need to let some go.
The set measures. 20.25 X 14.25 X 0.21".
The wood is dry at 7% moisture content or less.
