Item description: Waterfall bubinga back and side set. Outside of the veneer world, bubinga with waterfall figure is seldom seen anymore. I was lucky enough to find an amazing slab last year, probably the nicest I have or will see again. Deep three dimensional figure with loads of color make this an exceptional set. Can only imagine what it will look like finished. The wood has a nice resonance when handled, very alive sounding. Sorry for the glare in some of the pictures, with figure this deep good photographs are a challenge.
This set will easily fit a OM size guitar and is 100% free of any defects. Front and back sides have been drum sanded flat. The slab this set was cut from was air dried and the plates lay nice and flat, very well behaved wood.
Back dimensions: 20.5" long, lower bout is 18.75'' wide, upper bout is 18" wide and is 0.150" thick
Sides dimensions: 31 X 5 X 0.150" each.
